Our chopped carbon fiber strands are ideal for manufacturing highly loaded molding and filling compounds, conductive coatings, and adhesives. They are made from recycled carbon fibers sourced from rovings, offering an environmentally responsible way to incorporate high-performance reinforcement into your projects.
The strands can be added to epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin systems. They wet out quickly and evenly, making them easy to work with in both small-scale and production environments.

Processing Guidelines

Prepare the resin/hardener mixture according to your system’s instructions.

Add the chopped carbon fiber strands once the mixture is ready. The amount can be adjusted based on the desired conductivity and mechanical properties – higher fiber content increases both.

Mix thoroughly to ensure even wetting of the fibers.

Apply or mold as needed.
For Forged Carbon Components (Negative Mold)

Mix chopped strands with epoxy resin to form a pressable mass, or sprinkle strands onto a resin-wet surface and impregnate.

For additional reinforcement, combine with carbon fiber fabric.
For Surface Coating (Positive Process)

Sprinkle strands onto a wet resin surface.

Apply additional resin layers and sand as needed to achieve the desired surface finish.
